Panel Abstract    :

Oflate, there are many  evelopments in South Asia, which strongly suggest that normalization of Indo-Pak relations is must for peace , prosperity and security in the region. such normalization demands a fair assessments of real natutre of the problem.collision  of interest and the confrontation of ideologies are very complex and can not be reduced to the Kashmir Question. As the past of more than fifty years have proved; there will be no solution of the Kashmir Problem without substantial effort to normalise The relation between Pakistan and India in othe major fields. Any kind of solution of the conflict over Kashmir will not automatically eliminate The othe hot beds of conflict; namely in the strategic and security fields. The panel, therefore , tries to investigate real causes, the nature of bilateral conflict;Discusses.  The actual dimension of the Kashmir Question in The context of the complex conflict constellation. It will also touch in short on the role of the nuclear factor in the conflict; and conclude with some thought on ways towards  normalization of Pakistan- India relations. After the two countries launched a ceasefire- their first such accord in 14 years, both india and pakistan have an opportunity to hammer out acceptable solution without any further human and matterial loss
