Keynote speakers We are proud to announce two keynote lectures, namely by Prof. Rahman Embong (President of the Malaysian Social Science Association) and Prof. Gananath Obeyesekere (Princeton University) entitled The Visionary Travels of Madame Blavatsky and the Work of the Dream Ego. A new feature of the ICAS Book Prize is the Colleagues Choice Award. This award has been established following numerous requests to give the academic community the opportunity to voice their choice. On 5 July short lists for the IBP 2007 will be announced via the ICAS website. ICAS Publications Series Two ICAS monographs will be launched during ICAS 5: the IBP 2005 best PhD winner Sam Wong' Exploring ‘Unseen"Social Capital in Community Participation. and the corperate biography of the Salim Group of Indonesia by ICAS Friend Marleen Dieleman entitled "The Rhythm of Strategy. All registered ICAS Friends and Patrons can pick up a free copy of one of the two publications at the ICAS booth located in the exhibition hall of ICAS 5. The ICAS 4 Proceedings (5 volumes) will be published by Amsterdam University Press (http://www.aup.nl/) in the course of this and next year.
