ICAS 5 Exhibition

The ICAS 5 exhibition will showcase books and publications from a range of world renowned publishers featuring study materials as well as limited edition publications.  Exhibitors will include university publishers, private and public publishers, universities, colleges, institutions of higher learning and research institutes. 

 

ICAS 5

The International Convention of Asia Scholars (ICAS) is listed among the largest gatherings of research scholars and Centres on Asia and Asians studies, especially in the humanities and social science fields.

With “Sharing a Future in Asia” as its theme, ICAS 5 expects the participation of over 2,000 delegates representing 60 countries. Held from 2nd to 5th August 2007 in the heart of Asia, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, ICAS 5 will be the platform to boost the emerging cross-disciplinary and inter-regional trend in Asian studies.

 

WHY PARTICIPATE?

ICAS 5 will take place on Level 3 and Level 4 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.  The ICAS 5 exhibition is p laced at a central position in between the panel rooms making it impossible to miss when scholars move from panel session to panel session.

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is located in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, fondly known as KLCC.  Designed to be a "city within a city" this 100-acre site includes the KLCC Park, PETRONAS Twin Towers and the Malaysian Philharmonic Chambers. 

Conveniently placed alongside extensive public transportation, hotels and shopping centres, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is equipped with the latest exhibition and conference facilities, ensuring a fantastic exhibition experience.

Joint Display Scheme

A Joint Display will be set up for Exhibitors who will not attend the exhibition but would like to display their books or catalogues. 

First 5 books                     USD20 per book
Every following book           USD10 per book

      
 

ADVERTISING

Book Feature

1 book of the exhibitor’s choice will be featured free of charge in the conference programme booklet.  Each book will be featured with a coloured picture of the book and a 30 word description.  It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to provide the picture (full colour cover scan) and the description of their featured books.

Other Advertising

Other advertising opportunities in the convention programme booklet:

Full colour, full page (A4)     USD400 per page
Full colour, half page (A5)    USD250 per page

Convention Pack Inserts

Exhibitors may request for item inserts (up to 50grammes) into the convention pack that will be distributed to each participant at USD 600 for each insert item

Catalogue Display

Exhibitors may request for their catalogues to be displayed at the Joint Display booth at USD50 per catalogue (unrestricted quantity).

Exhibitors may contact the appointed Freight Forwarder directly for assistance. 

Early Bird Price

A 10% discount will be extended to exhibitors confirming their participation before 31 January 2007
