



A tradition started in 2004, the ICAS Book Prize seeks to honour the best of Asian Studies.
The awards are:
- Best study in the field of Humanities
- Best study in the field of Social Sciences
- Best PhD in the field of Humanities
- Best PhD in the field of Social Sciences
- The Colleagues Choice Award. This award has been established following numerous requests to give the academic community the opportunity to voice their choice. To cast your vote visit the virtual polling station at www.icassecretariat.org which will be open from 15 October 2010 - 1 February 2011.
Deadlines:
- ICAS Book Prize 2011 (IBP) for best study in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences: 15 August 2010
- ICAS Book Prize 2011 (IBP) for best PhD in the field of Asian Studies: 15 August 2010
Criteria:
- Scientific books published between July 2008 and July 2010 on any topic pertaining to Asia are eligible;
- The best PhD theses will be published in the ICAS Publications Series
- Submissions for Book Prizes are to be sent to ICAS Secretariat Leiden:
