ICAS Book Prize 2011 Citations of prize winning books and best PhDs

IBP 2011
The ICAS Book Prize now in its fourth edition saw a steep rise in the number of books submitted. We received no less than 200 books from 45 publishers in the field of Asian studies. The IBP 2011 Reading Committee consisted of Anand Yang (Chair) and Manuela Ciotti, Derek Heng, Alex McKay and Khun Eng Kuah-Pearce.

Nearly 200 books were submitted for the ICAS Book Prize 2011. You can vote for the book you appreciate most till 20 March 2011. The winner will be announced during the IBP Awards Ceremony on  1 April 2011 in Honolulu. Show your appreciation!

ICAS Book Prize 2011 - Long Lists

The ICAS Secretariat announced the longs lists for the ICAS Book Prize 2011. Out of a total of nearly 200 submitted books 15 were long listed for both the humanities and  social sciences categories. 35 PhDs were submitted for the best PhD in the social sciences and the Humanities. In each category 3 books were short listed.
